It began with a photograph of heat haze over a Lucknow rooftop.
The first sketch wasn't of a vase at all — it was an attempt to draw the way vertical air bends light. Those wavering verticals became forty meridian curves, swept around a profile that took nineteen revisions to settle.
In CAD, every meridian is driven by three parameters: sweep, gather, and breath — how far each line leans, where the lines crowd together at the waist, and how much the body inflates between them. Change one number and the whole vessel exhales differently. That parameter set is why no copy of this object can exist: the geometry is the signature.
Printed standing, without supports, in a 9-hour 40-minute continuous run. The ridge geometry was tuned so each layer lands on the shoulder of the last — the printer never crosses open air. What looks ornamental is actually the engineering.
